Strong Rainfall Warning for Marmara Region

According to the statement from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM), localized strong to very heavy rainfall is forecasted starting from tomorrow morning in the Marmara Region, including Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, the eastern part of Tekirdağ, the northern parts of Bursa and Balıkesir, and the eastern part of Çanakkale.

MGM emphasized the need to be cautious and take precautions against potential risks such as flooding, waterlogging, landslides, lightning, disruptions in transportation, and strong winds during the rainfall.

In the meantime, it is expected that the temperatures will remain within seasonal norms.
