Switzerland Based UBS Sets Date for Gold’s New Record

A Bullish Outlook from a Global Giant
UBS, the Switzerland-based global investment bank, has released a fresh analysis note pointing to a strong bullish scenario in the gold market. Analysts now expect gold to reach 4,200 dollars per ounce by the middle of 2026, a projection that signals a historic record.
Revised Targets and Market Confidence
This new forecast is considerably higher than earlier expectations. UBS previously set its target at 3,800 dollars by the end of 2025 and 3,900 dollars by mid-2026. With the latest revision, those targets have been lifted by 300 and 200 dollars respectively, reflecting growing confidence in the resilience of the precious metal.
Gold as a Safe Haven Asset
According to UBS, gold continues to stand out as a safe haven, thanks to its low correlation with stocks and bonds. In an environment shaped by inflation concerns and geopolitical risks, investors are once again turning their attention to the stability that gold has historically provided.
Risks Still on the Horizon
While the bullish outlook is clear, UBS also highlights potential risks. Price volatility and possible shifts in US monetary policy remain factors that investors should carefully consider when evaluating long-term positions in the gold market.
