TAT METAL of Turkey exports fifty percent of its steel products to world countries

TATMETAL, one of the largest industrial organizations in Turkey, has managed to increase its place from the 79th place in the previous year to the 33rd place according to the results of the2021 Survey of the Top 1000 Exporters of Turkey, which is announced every year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly. TATMETAL which exports fifty percent of its production to global markets, has risen from the 14th to the 9th place in the entire steel sector with the performance it displayed in 2021.

Turkey’s steel sector achieved an increase of 34.6 percent in dollar terms with the exports it realized during January-May 2022 period, compared to the same period of the previous year.

1.5 MILLION TONS ANNUAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY

TAT METAL is an important player in this success with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons and has improved the amount of flat steel it exports by 8 percent in terms of tons compared to the previous year with the performance it has shown during this period.

The steel sector in Turkey ranked first among the industries that increased its exports the most with the performance it showed in exports in 2021, taking a 10 percent share from Turkey’s overall figures.
