Temperatures Are Rising: Thermometers to Hit 45°C! Province-by-Province Weather Forecast

According to forecasts by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the northern parts of the country will be partly to mostly cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected along the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and in the Artvin region. The rest of the country is expected to experience mostly clear skies. Temperatures are forecasted to remain around seasonal norms in the northwestern areas but will continue to be well above average elsewhere. Here is the regional weather outlook for July 13, 2025:

Strong Wind Warning: Winds are expected to blow strongly (40–60 km/h) from the north in the southern Marmara region and along the Northern Aegean coast. Caution is advised due to potential transportation disruptions and other weather-related hazards.
Marmara Region
The region is expected to be partly to mostly clear. Winds in the southern parts of Marmara will be strong from the north and northeast (40–60 km/h).

- Istanbul: 31°C, partly to mostly clear
Aegean Region
Mostly sunny and clear skies are expected. Winds along the northern Aegean coast will be strong from the north and northwest (40–60 km/h).
- Izmir: 36°C, sunny and clear
- Muğla: 36°C, hazy sunshine and hot; dry for now, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms later in the week
Mediterranean Region
The region will experience mostly clear and sunny conditions, with some areas seeing partial cloud cover later in the day. Temperatures remain high across coastal and inland cities.
- Antalya: 31°C, sunny and clear throughout the day. Slight haze expected in the afternoon. Temperatures may rise to 33–34°C midweek.
Central Anatolia Region: Clear and sunny skies are expected across the region, with temperatures continuing to rise above seasonal norms – Ankara: 38°C, sunny and clear
Western Black Sea Region: Partly to mostly clear conditions are forecasted.
Central and Eastern Black Sea Region: Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in coastal areas and Artvin.
Eastern Anatolia Region: The region will experience mostly sunny and clear skies, though temperatures are significantly high in southern parts.
Southeastern Anatolia Region: Conditions will be dry and sunny, with very high temperatures dominating the region. Some eastern areas may see partial cloudiness later in the day.
