Temperatures dropping, showers expected

The Meteorology General Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change announced that temperatures across the country will decrease and that showers are expected in the central regions over the weekend.

What Will the Weather Be Like Tomorrow?

According to Meteorology Expert Abdullah Macit, tomorrow, the northern and central parts of the country will experience partly cloudy weather. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in Inner Aegean, Lakes Region, and along the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts.

Friday’s Weather Forecast

On Friday, showers are expected in the interior regions of the Aegean, Lakes Region, northwestern Central Anatolia, and the interior parts of the Western, Central, and Eastern Black Sea regions.

Showers Expected in Central Regions Over the Weekend

On Saturday, thunderstorms are expected in the Inner Aegean, interior parts of the Mediterranean, Central and Eastern Black Sea, and the surrounding areas of Ardahan and Kars. Other regions will experience partly cloudy to clear skies. Temperatures, which have been above seasonal norms across the country, are expected to drop in the central regions over the weekend. Macit noted that temperatures will decrease by 4-5 degrees and approach seasonal norms in the central regions.

Weather in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir

– Istanbul: Over the next three days, Istanbul will experience partly cloudy weather with temperatures expected to range between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius.

– Ankara: In the capital, Ankara, local thunderstorms are expected tomorrow and Friday, with temperatures around 31-32 degrees Celsius.

– Izmir: No rain is expected in Izmir. Temperatures are forecasted to remain around 36-37 degrees Celsius over the next three days.
