Temperatures to drop across Turkey, heavy rain and snow coming

According to the weather report issued by the Turkish Meteorological Service on October 18, temperatures are expected to drop across the country. Snowfall warnings have been issued for the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia regions, while heavy rain is anticipated in northern parts of the country.
As mid-October approaches, warm weather is rapidly giving way to colder conditions. The latest forecast predicts that the weather will be partly cloudy, with some areas experiencing overcast skies.
SNOWFALL EXPECTED
Rain and showers are forecasted for the eastern Marmara region, the Black Sea, northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as around Sivas, Çankırı, and northern Ankara. In the higher areas of the inland Black Sea and eastern highlands of Eastern Anatolia, sleet and snow are expected.
Flood, Landslide Warnings:
Strong rainfall is expected along the Black Sea coast, and there are warnings for potential floods, landslides, lightning strikes, strong winds, and disruptions in transportation.
Temperature Drops
Temperatures are expected to drop by 3-6°C in the interior and southern regions, falling below seasonal norms across the country.
