Terrible picture in traffic accidents: 2 thousand 100 people die in 11 months

According to the data of the General Directorate of Security Traffic Directorate, 24,204 people were injured in the 44,962 traffic accident that occurred in November, while 228 people lost their lives in same accidents. In the first 11 months of the year, the number of people who lost their lives in accidents throughout Turkey was 2 thousand 100.

2 THOUSAND 100 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

In the accidents, 24 thousand 204 people were injured and 228 people lost their lives. In the first 11 months of the year, the number of people killed in traffic accidents increased to 2 thousand 100.

THE MOST ACCIDENTS WERE IN ISTANBUL

In November, the highest number of traffic accidents happened in Istanbul. A total of 5 thousand 645 fatal, injured and damaged accidents occurred in Istanbul, while 15 people lost their lives.

Istanbul was followed by Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Bursa. The cities where the least accidents occurred were Ardahan, Tunceli and Bayburt.
