The assets of FTX executives in Turkey were confiscated

As a result of the investigation opened about the crypto currency exchange FTX, which MASAK initiated an inspection, the assets of the company’s official Sam Bankman-Fried and other interested parties were confiscated.

A statement was made on MASAK’s website, regarding the crypto asset trading platform operating under FTX.com trade name.

In the statement it said, investigation had been started on persons and legal entities associated with global crypto asset trading platform that operated under the commercial name FTX.com. It also said transactions made to accounts of said related persons and establishments with banks, electronic money institutions, crypto service providers etc. had been suspended under the relevant provisions of the law on prevention of laundering proceeds of crime.
