The Netherlands has declared 12 countries, including Turkey, a ‘high-risk region’ and tightened travel rules. The Dutch Foreign Ministry reported that travel rules had been tightened again due to the rapid increase in Covid infections in Turkey and 11 other countries. Turkey and 11 other countries declared a “high-risk zone” are included in the list of countries that are defined in orange according to the new regulation and “should not be visited except in mandatory cases”.
According to BBC Turkish, the travel rules applied to people coming to the Netherlands from Turkey and 11 other countries will be tightened. According to the new rules, all passengers will be asked for a negative test result and those who have not received the 3rd dose vaccine will be subject to mandatory quarantine.
