Picture getting worse in  Kahramanmaras earthquake: Number of deaths near 30 thousand

AFAD reported that as of 15.55, 29 thousand 605 people had lost their lives in the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes and 147 thousand 934 disaster victims had been evacuated to other provinces.

According to the statement made by AFAD, 2 thousand 412 aftershocks occurred after the earthquakes centered on the PAZARCIK and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaras.

The loss of life in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adiyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ reached 29 thousand 605. AFAD did not make any statement regarding the number of injured.

Again, it was reported that 147 thousand 934 people affected by the earthquake in the disaster area were evacuated.
