The test requirement for the unvaccinated has been lifted
For those who are not vaccinated, the requirement for PCR testing in travel, activities, workplaces and schools has been lifted, in Turkey
It has been reported that it has been evaluated that following in following situations people will not need to be screened with a PCR test.
- Before intercity trips by plane, bus, train or other public transport – People who are not vaccinated or have not completed the vaccination process and have not had the disease in the last 180 days;
- Before participating in events such as concerts, cinemas and theaters, personnel working at schools of the Ministry of Education (teacher, service driver, cleaning staff, etc.)
- Employees in all public and private workplaces,
- Those who will attend student camps organized by public and private institutions

Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Eksi announced on social media that the requirement for PCR testing on domestic flights had been removed. Bilal Eksi made the following statements in his post: “In accordance with the decision taken by our competent authorities, the requirement for PCR testing on domestic flights has been removed from all our passengers. It will be enough to submit the HEPP code.”
