Thunderstorm warning for 23 cities, including Istanbul 

Thunderstorms are expected in 23 cities. According to the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM), heavy rain will affect the northeastern part of the Marmara region, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia. 

The cities expected to experience rain are as follows:

– Kocaeli
– Sinop
– Amasya
– Samsun
– Trabzon
– Artvin
– Ağrı
– Erzurum
– Kars
– Elazığ
– Tunceli
– Bingöl
– Muş 
– Bitlis
