THY cancels flights on March 10 : 205 flights will not be operated

Turkish Airlines has cancelled 185 flights from Istanbul Airport on March 10, and 20 domestic flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport on AnadoluJet due to adverse weather conditions. Both companies canceled some flights at Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport on March 10 due to snowfall, which is expected to be effective in Istanbul.

In a statement, Turkish Airlines Press Consultancy said: “Due to the expected snowfall in Istanbul, flight cancellations were made at Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen Airports on March 10 in accordance with the decision of MADKOM (Meteorological Emergency Committee). The flight details are as follows: a total of 185 flight cancellations were made at Istanbul Airport.

Of these, 114 are domestic flights and 71 are international flights. 20 Anadolujet flights were canceled at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. All these flights are domestic flights. There were a total of 205 flight cancellations. It is likely that the number of cancellations due to the operation will increase.”
