THY (Turkish Airlines) will expand its international flight destinations to 349, with addition of two new routes to America

THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi announced at the Istanbul Airshow International Civil Aviation and Airports Fair that they would launch flights to two new international destinations this year. Ekşi highlighted that Turkish Airlines, which had a fleet of 65 aircraft in 2003, operated over 460 aircraft and ranks 9th globally.
Ekşi emphasized the airline’s ambitious goal of becoming one of the top three airlines in the world by 2033.
Ekşi also stated that Turkish Airlines was accelerating its global expansion with new routes. He said, “In 2024, we will begin new flights to major destinations such as Sydney and Santiago. This year, we added important destinations like Melbourne and Toronto, and we resumed flights to Tripoli”.
With the addition of Sydney and Santiago, Turkish Airlines will have 349 international destinations by the end of this year.
