Top Gainers and Losers on Borsa Istanbul This Week

BIST 100 Ends the Week Slightly Higher

Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index closed the week with a slight gain of 0.07 percent, ending at 10,366.16 points. During the week, the index fluctuated between a low of 9,990.12 and a high of 10,407.44 points.

Sector Performance

Among sector indices, the technology index stood out with a strong increase of 6.56 percent, closing at 22,984.66 points. The industrial index rose 0.81 percent to 13,116.26, the services index gained 0.84 percent to reach 10,238.80, and the financial index edged up 0.22 percent to 13,554.02.

Balsu Gıda Leads the Gainers

Balsu Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ was the top-performing stock in the BIST 100 this week, posting a 10.59 percent gain. It was followed by Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ with a 9.16 percent increase, and Galatasaray, which rose by 8 percent.

KUYAŞ Gayrimenkul Sees the Sharpest Decline

On the losing side, KUYAŞ Gayrimenkul experienced the biggest drop with a 7.53 percent decline. It was trailed by Işıklar Enerji Yapı Holding, which fell by 7.38 percent, and Oba Makarnacılık, down 6.92 percent.
