Turkey, Netherlands sign agreement on cooperation in customs
Turkey and the Netherlands signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in customs in a bid to increase bilateral trade.
ANKARA- Attending the penning ceremony, Turkish Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazici around 18 thousand Turkish employers made contribution to the Dutch economy.
“Nearly 400 thousand Turks live in the Netherlands and own investments in the country worth of 5.6 billion euros, employing some 50 thousand people,” Yazici told the ceremony, adding that the number of Dutch companies operated in Turkey as of 2011 had reached nearly 2 thousand.
