Turkey becomes 4th largest exporter of fresh vegetables
It is reported that Turkey has succeeded to take its place among top vegetable exporting countries in the World.
In fact Turkey is one of the top exporters of the two key agricultural commodities in the world, according to data released by the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock.
The report says the country which had a production capacity of 39 million tons of fruit and vegetables in 2002, increased its capacity to 44.5 million tons in 2011.
Accordingly the revenue fort his group of exports reached US$ 2.5 billion securing Turkey 4th position among largest exporters in the world.
