Latest poll for election to come: AK Party still leading with narrow margin

The data of the Turkey Monitor survey conducted regularly by Aksoy Research at the end of February 2022 have been announced. Voters were asked which party they would vote for if there was a deputy election this Sunday.

Despite continuing loss of votes, the AK Party retained the leadership with a very small margin. Despite the deceleration of 0.4 percentage points compared to last month, main opposition CHP managed to maintain the 1.5 percentage point difference with AKP. MHP, which has been decimated by votes, was also among the parties that fell under the threshold this week.

The results for vote share of concerned parties was as follows:

AKP: 30.3% (in power)
CHP: 28.8% (opposition coalition)
Good Party: 13.7% (opposition coalition)
HDP: 10.6% (pro-Kurdish party – opposition as well)
MHP: 8.2% (in power with AK Party)
DEVA Party: 2.8% (opposition coalition)
Future Party: 1.0% (opposition coalition)
Felicity Party: 1.0% (opposition coalition)

As it looks based on above survey results vote share of both blocks stand as follows:
Millet Alliance (opposition): 47.3 percent
Cumhur Alliance: 38.5 percent
HDP: 10.6 (not inclyded in any bloc currently, hardly any possibility to support Cumhur bloc, however)
