Turkey shaken by historical earthquakes: A second earthquake with magnitude 7.6

According to AFAD data, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the PAZARCI district of Kahramanmaras at 04.17 in the morning. The earthquake was effective in 10 cities. 912 people lost their lives in the earthquake. After the first earthquake, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 took place, this time the epicenter of which was the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the Pazardzhik district of Kahramanmaras. AFAD had announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 7.4 in the first hours. After 8 hours had passed AFAD updated the data and announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 7.7.
The earthquake was also effective in Hatay, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Adiyaman, Malatya, Sanliurfa, Adana, Diyarbakir and Kilis.
Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory announced that a second earthquake occurred in Kahramanmaraş at 13:24 hours. AFAD, on the other hand, announced that the magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter of which was the Elbistan district, was 7.6.
DEATH TOLL INCREASES TO 1014
In the meantime, AFAD President Sezer announced that the number of people who had lost their lives in the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes had gone up to 1014.
