Turkey: Storm warning from Meteorology
The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a storm warning for Marmara, Aegean and Western Mediterranean. Precipitation is expected to be strong on the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts.
The daily forecast report is as follows: “The whole of our country is partly cloudy in places, the eastern Marmara Sea, the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia (except Eskisehir), the Black Sea, Malatya, Erzincan, Tunceli, Kars and Ardahan circles and the coastal parts of Kırklareli are predicted to be rainy.
The precipitation, which is expected to be strong on the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and the coastal parts of Kastamonu, is expected to be in the form of rain on the coasts, sleet and snow in the inland areas. Haze and fog are expected in places in the inner and eastern regions.”
It is predicted that the air temperature will decrease noticeably in the southern and eastern parts and will hover around seasonal norms throughout the country.
