Turkey’s opposition leader says possible Ukraine-Russia war will cause highest  damage to Turkey

CHP Chairman Kemal KILICDAROGLU said that the possible Ukraine-Russia war would cause the highest damage to Turkey. Speaking at a group meeting of his party in the Parliament, the CHP leader devoted an important place to the emphasis on justice, as well.

The opposition leader also drew attention to the growing tension between Russia and Ukraine, saying: “We do not want war in our region” stressing that the greatest damage will be caused to Turkey.

The CHP leader emphasized that the importance of the Montreux Straits Convention was once again understood.

Message regarding Montreux

“If someone opens the Montreux Convention for discussion, 84 million should know the severity that this will entail,” CHP leader said, calling the opening of the convention for discussion a “betrayal”.
