Turkey’s Tourism Minister announces new tourism target with important news
Minister of culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has answered questions on a TV interview. The Minister who shared the forecast for the number of tourists this year in his speech, said: “this year we have caught up with the competing countries by running fast. We think we’ll see 25 million tourists, this year. We hope to increase last year’s revenue of $ 12 billion to $ 20 billion.”

“We closed last year with about 16 million tourists. We also managed a very good process during this period. We sat at the table with the Ministry of Health and set our goals for said period. We met with many ambassadors in Antalya. This year, we have caught up with the competing countries by running fast. We think we’ll catch the target of 25 million tourists. We think we will also increase last year’s revenue of $ 12 billion to $ 20 billion. Sincerely speaking, I expect 30 million tourists and more than US$ 23 billion in revenue. We are working very hard in this direction. Our hotels that were closed began to open very quickly. This year, Russia will take the first place and Germany will be the second followed by Ukraine. We expect to see negative test results from All tourists coming to Turkey.”

Atatürk Kültür Merkezi (Atatürk Culture Center)
On October 29, we will open the AKM (Atatürk Kültür Merkezi). It will be the fastest-opening Cultural Center in the world. It has a hall for 2,038 people. It has a museum, libraries and cafeterias. During the hours when the AKM is closed, our culture Street will be open 24 hours a day. Beyoğlu Cultural Road will start from Galataport and extend to AKM.
