SATBASouth Africa-Turkey Business Forum 2012

The South African Turkish Business Association (SATBA) in conjunction with the Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA) hosted a bilateral business forum meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The forum was held at the world renowned ‘Long Room’ at the Bidvest Wanderers Cricket Stadium, on Thursday.

The forum was attended by a large number of Turkish businessmen and representatives, belonging to Turkey’s largest business federation, the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON).

All affiliate members of TUSKON, including the Federation of Anatolian Businessman (ANFED), the Anatolian Industrialist and Business Federation (ANSIFED) and Gebze Industrialist and Business Federation (GESIAD), were present.

The business forum was also attended by a host of South African businessmen from different industries, as well as representatives from government, the private sector, business organizations, development agencies and members of the media.

Gauteng Economic Development MEC, Qedani Dorothy Mahlangu, addressed the forum as a guest of honour, with a key note speech.
