TOURISTS IN TURKEY DURING CURFEW

Turkish Citizens believe that the purpose has been spoiled with the exceptions given in the full closure. They think exemptions offered to tourists are wrong.

Citizens who support the full closure process are uncomfortable with the exemptions provided for tourists and the decision to enter the country without a PCR test. Images of tourists who are exempt from the curfew, entering the sea and the fact that society faces many penalties due to the bans have created a negative perception.

While 76 per cent of the community think it is wrong to exempt tourists from full closure bans, nearly 3 in 4 think the bans should cover everyone, regardless of whether they are citizens or tourists. On the other hand, the removal of the requirement to ask tourists for a PCR test in order to get the sector back on its feet is also wrong by citizens. 67 percent of the population said that the decision not to ask for a PCR test from 15 countries was wrong, while the proportion of those who found it correct remained at 18 percent.,

According to a research, the excess of exemptions and failure to comply with the full closure have caused confusion in the community. According to the study, 6 out of every 10 people find these exemptions too much and think they are out of the goal of a full shutdown. The same research company that evaluated the results of the research, pointed out that despite the full support of the society, decisions created different thoughts with citizens.

76 per cent of the community find it wrong to exempt tourists from full closure bans.

THE PUBLIC IS NOT CONVINCED

In said research, before the decisions were announced, it was found that the idea of full closure found widespread support in the community. But despite all this support, it is observed that there are decisions that are heavily discussed in practice and do not convince the general community. IIt is hoped that all these sacrifices made by citizens to fight the epidemic will be reflected in the number of cases in the coming days.
