Turkish Olympic Champion Busenaz Sürmeneli advances to quarterfinals in women’s 66 kg match

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, reigning Olympic champion and national boxer Busenaz Sürmeneli defeated Polish opponent Aneta Rygielska 4-1 in the women’s 66 kg round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals.

In a very challenging game the Turkish boxer performed very well in the last round in particular, despite great effort from Polish rival.

Busenaz Sürmeneli’s quarterfinal match will take place on Saturday, August 3rd.
