“Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) releases economic confidence index data for November

According to the data, the economic confidence index, which was 96.5 in October, decreased by 1.3% in November, reaching a value of 95.3.

MOST NOTABLE DECREASE IN SERVICE SECTOR CONFIDENCE

Compared to the previous month, the consumer confidence index increased by 1.1% to a value of 75.5 in November, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 1.3% to a value of 103.9, the service sector confidence index decreased by 2.4% to a value of 110.9, the retail trade sector confidence index decreased by 1.9% to a value of 111.7, and the construction sector confidence index increased by 2.2% to a value of 91.0.

An economic confidence index above 100 indicates optimism about the general economic situation, while a value below 100 signifies pessimism about the overall economic situation.”
