According to an official survey Turkish unemployment drops to 9.9 percent.

It is observed that among worries of Europe (and the world) bumping into another big crisis, Turkey’s economy keeps doing well.

Accordingly, the unemployment figure declined to 9.9 percent of the workforce in the three months from February to April, from 10.8 percent in the same period in 2011, based on official data announced on Friday.

Based on a survey of 97,121 people and announced by the statistics institute the report said the number of unemployed people fell by 201,000 to reach 2.615 million on a 12-month comparison.

Turkey has been receiving much appraisal for its economy which recovered spectacularly from the global crisis, growing by 9.2 percent in 2010 and 8.5 percent in 2011.
