Unemployment in Turkey Falls in May
Despite the word of coming crisis the country enjoys some good news such as increase in exports, improvement in employment etc.
The unemployment level fell by 296,000 people to 2.55 million unemployed.
Turkey’s unemployment rate decreased by 1.6 percentage poitns to 9.4 percent in May 2011 period, compared to the same period last year.
The unemployment level fell by 296,000 people to 2.55 million unemployed, for the same period, compared to that of last year.
The data was revealed by TurkStat, the state statistics agency, which calculates the unemployment for May period as an average of three months from April to June.
