US Dollar rises on the first day of the week after Trump meets with economist Taylor

US Dollar started the day with a rise and fluctuated between 3.64- 3.65 against Turkish Lira. News about President Trump’s meeting with John Taylor, an economist with Stanford University and prospects of US president to appoint Taylor as new FED president caused an increase in US interest rates as well as the dollar.

The US dollar / TL fluctuated at 3.66 during the day, and continued to rise during the evening due to good data received from the USA, peaking at 3.6768.

Experts say positive steps to solve the visa crisis with USA would affect the rate positively that is in favor of the Turkish lira.
