US Dollar yields highest profit in August

DOLLARSAs announced by Turkish Statistical Institute, on Tuesday. US dollar has yielded the highest monthly real profit with the rates 1.40 percent and 1.74 percent, when reduced with Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) respectively.

It was also announced that the monthly real profit rate of gold (ingot) had been 0.23 percent reduced with D-PPI, according to the August data on the Rates of Real Profits Created by Means of Financial Investment.

On the other hand investors of stock exchange, euro and Government Domestic Debt Instruments (GDDI) lost by 1.92 percent, 0.46 percent and 0.14 percent, respectively, over the same preiod.

According to CPI, the monthly real profit rates of investors of gold (ingot), deposit interest and Government Domestic Debt Instruments were 0.56 percent, 0.32 percent and 0.19 percent, while investors of stock exchange and euro lost by 1.60 percent and 0.13 percent, respectively. Gold (ingot) made the highest real profit with the rates of 2.51 percent according to D-PPI and 2.87 percent according to CPI, quarterly. In the same period, investors of euro lost by 1 percent and 0.65 percent according to D-PPI and CPI.

Stock exchange made the highest real profit with the rates of 22.94 percent according to D-PPI and 20.25 percent according to CPI, on six-month basis. In the same period, investors of euro made the highest loss with the rates of 6.12 percent and 8.17 percent according to D-PPI and CPI respectively.

The annual real profit rates of stock exchange were 0.74 percent and 1.05 percent according to D-PPI and CPI respectively, however in the same period investors of gold (ingot) made the highest loss with the rates of 4.51 percent and 4.22 percent according to D-PPI and CPI.
