Warning from Gazprom’s about natural gas: Prices will continue to rise
The price increase in the energy sector continues as the world follows the Russia-Ukraine war. Like with oil and coal, natural gas prices are rising. Gazprom, which supplies 45 percent of Europe’s natural gas, has warned that record-breaking prices could rise further.
Gazprom, the Russian natural gas company, said that gas prices in Europe had set a historical record at $ 3,892 per thousand cubic meters, warning that the rise in prices could continue. The company also noted in its stateement “the reason for this increase was not because of Gazprom.”
