Warning to Russian tourists: Stay away from these areas in Istanbul!

After a Russian tourist was stabbed to death, districts and regions that should be avoided in Istanbul were announced. Russian tourists have been warned to stay away from these areas.

The death of a Russian tourist who was attacked by 4 people in Istanbul-Taksim recently has been widely covered in the Russian press and social media.

Finally, Aleksandr Bandurin, professor of the Moscow Financial University, expert in tourism told made a statement to Pravda.Ru, listing the districts and regions in Istanbul that should be avoided. Accordingly, Bandurin said, “For example, Tarlabaşı, Hacıhüsrev are always dangerous areas. In addition, Sultanbeyli, Gaziosmanpasa are also places where the probability of an incident is quite high,”

More about the incident: 4 People stabbed to death a Russian tourist they were fighting with in Taksim. There has been no statement from the Police about the incident yet. The incident occurred yesterday at around 08.30 in Beyoglu Taksim Huseyinaga Neighborhood. Allegedly, a fight broke out between Russian national Vyacheslav Vasilievich Dechipporchuk and 4 people who allegedly took his phone. The attackers stabbed the Russian teenager who resisted the attackers not to give his phone in the heart and fled.
