Yellow code warning from Meteorology for 10 provinces
According to the latest weather forecasts made by Meteorology, “A yellow code warning was issued for 10 provinces. Marmara and Aegean are under the influence of torrential rains along with southwester. Heavy downpours are expected around Çanakkale and Balıkesir along with the coastal Aegean. In the evening, it is expected that Istanbul and its surroundings will be rainy. On the other hand, the Marmara, Coastal Aegean, Central and Eastern Black Sea will maintain the influence of southwester in the interior.
According to a recent assessment by the General Directorate of Meteorology, following is expected: Partly cloudy in the northern and western sections of the country, Marmara and Aegean coastal region, Kütahya, Uşak, Denizli, Antalya and Isparta with the intermittent showers.
Precipitation is expected to be locally strong in the afternoon in the Coastal Aegean and western coastal districts of Çanakkale and Balıkesir. Haze and fog are expected in places in the interior and eastern parts during the morning and night hours.
It is expected that there will be no significant change in air temperature and that it will continue to be above seasonal norms.
The wind is expected to blow from southern direction with light as well as medium strength and strong in Marmara, Aegean coast, central and eastern Black Sea region of strong (40-60 km/h) and in the form of the storm (40-70 km/h) at times.
