It is reported that at least 25 thousand civilians had to flee to areas near the Turkish border line in the past two days due to attacks conducted by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and Russia on Idlib in Syria. According to reports the exact number of migrated people is not clear due to nonstop air and ground attacks.

It is also reported that about 205 thousand civilians have been displaced since the beginning of November due to intense attacks in the Idlib tension-relief zone. Displaced families are in urgent need of living supplies such as shelter, tents, blankets and beds.

The majority of civilians who fled as a result of ongoing attacks by regime forces and Russia have taken refuge in camps close to the border in areas such as Atme, Kah, Deir Hassan and Kefer Lusin in the Syrian territory across the Reyhanli district of Hatay, as well as areas with olive trees in Idlib, and areas Turkey cleared of terror earlier during Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch operation in the region.

More than 1,300 civilians have reportedly died due to attacks by regime and Russia on the Idlib tension relief zone since the agreement between Turkey and Russia was signed on September 17, 2018.

The number of civilians who migrated from places where attacks are intense, to relatively quiet places, and especially near the Turkish border exceeded 1 million in the past year.
