TurkStat reveals poultry statistics in Turkey for August 2012
Turkish Statistics Institute has revealed figures for poultry production statistics in Turkey for August 2012.
Poultry production statistics, which have been published monthly, have been collected from poultry establishments under the subgroup of NACE Rev.2, 01.47 and 10.12 in industry excluding farm production.
Egg production 1,3 billion units
Egg production increased 3% in August when compared to the previous month and increased 17,2 % when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Slaughtered chicken 93 million units
Number of slaughtered chicken decreased 8,6% in August when compared to the previous month and increased 10,2% when compared to same month of the previous year.
Chicken production 148 349 tons
Chicken production decreased 9,4% in August when compared to the previous month and increased 9,1% when compared to same month of the previous year.
