UEFA 2016: France beat Germany 2-0 to challenge Portugal for the title

Frenchmen showed a great performance against Germany which are supposed to be a very strong side and did not give their rivals a proper chance except for a few towards the end of the game when the score was 2-0 already.

Although German side had the ball during the most of the game thiss did not help them score and the penalty kick for France which was caused by experienced Schweinsteiger was certainly misluck for the Germans.

After Boateng had to leave the pitch due to injury, Germans did not have have the chance to come back anyway.

On the other hand no one can deny the contribution a brilliant player like GRIEZMAN has done to this victory.

To cut a long story short one can say that France were the second best team in their semi, but they had some style about them, plus they defended well and deserved the victory in the end.

On the other hand some might say France’s penalty at the end of the first half was a hard decision for Germans and it turned the game, but it was definitely a handball and the right decision by the referee.

As for the final game France seems to be far too strong for Portugal, but this is football… Let’s waitt and see…
