HAMAS ATTACK AGAINST ISRAEL

In the “Aqsa Storm” operation launched by Hamas this morning, thousands of rockets fired from Gaza towards Israel and attacks by Hamas militants infiltrating Israeli territory have resulted in at least 150 Israelis losing their lives, with over 1,000 wounded. Israel, in a state of shock, is discussing how its intelligence failed to anticipate Hamas’s large-scale attacks.

The “Aqsa Storm” operation initiated by the armed wing of Hamas, the Kassam Brigades, which controls the Gaza Strip, turned the streets of Israeli cities near the Gaza border into a bloodbath.

In the attacks carried out by Hamas militants who entered the town of Sderot from Gaza, many Israelis, including the elderly, were killed in the middle of the streets. While thousands of rockets were launched from Gaza towards Israel, Palestinian armed groups also entered residential areas in the region.

It was reported that clashes with Palestinians took place at seven points along the Gaza Strip border with Israel. During the attacks, Palestinian groups captured a significant number of Israeli soldiers and some civilians and took them to the besieged Gaza Strip.

The death toll in the attacks has reached 150.

It was reported that the number of wounded people exceeded 1,000 across Israel. Soroka Hospital in the vicinity of Gaza announced that more than 60 severely wounded individuals were receiving treatment at the hospital.

ISRAEL IN SHOCK: HOW DID INTELLIGENCE FAIL?

Israel, still reeling from the shock of the rocket attacks, was further stunned by the infiltration of Palestinians from Gaza to the other side of the border.

According to BBC’s report, Israeli government officials have initiated a comprehensive investigation into how intelligence failed to anticipate Hamas’s large-scale and well-coordinated attacks.

NETANYAHU: WE ARE IN A STATE OF WAR

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a meeting with cabinet members and security authorities, stated, “Our primary goal is to clear enemy elements that have entered our territory and establish security and peace in the attacked settlements.”
