13 year old Turkish girl takes first place in International Youth Music Competition

Elif Eroglu, a 13-year-old secondary school student living in Antalya, took first place in the 12-15 age group at the 3rd New Talent British International Youth Music Competition, which was attended by 214 young people from 27 countries in the UK with his violin performance.

Eroglu, who continued his studies with violin teacher Daniya Kaynova, won first place for the ninth time in international music competitions with this degree. She participated in the competition in the UK online due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Elif announced the news on his Twitter account with the following words:

“As the only Turkish participant in the 3rd New Talent British International Youth Music Competition, I took the first place among 214 participants from 27 countries, in the 12-15 age group. I am so happy. I thank you all and my family and my teacher very much.”
