25 percent to 100 percent hike in price of ready-made ice cream

There has been a 25 percent to 100 percent hike in the price of ready-made ice cream. The new prices will be reflected on the labels from June 1.

President of Tekel Dealers Platform said, “The ice cream that was 5 TL last year has become 10 TL which means citizens will not be able to buy it.”

In Turkey, where inflation set records, the main ingredients of ice cream are sugar and milk, which have also received exorbitant hikes. Finally, the price of sugar was increased by 31 percent in March and raw milk by 31 percent this month.
