4.5 million electricity and natural gas subscribers could not pay their bills in one year

According to a newspaper in Turkish media, a deputy Chairman Ahmet submitted questions to the ministry within the scope of the Information Acquisition Law.

According to the information provided by the Ministry, in 2021, an average of 27 million 853 thousand bills were generated every month for home subscribers. January was the month when the number of residential subscribers who were temporarily disconnected from the electricity was the highest.

2.7 MILLION HOMES

A total of 2 million 776 thousand 461 residential subscribers were temporarily cut off from electricity throughout Turkey in one year.

Last year, the number of commercial subscribers whose electricity was cut off was 597 thousand 980, the number of industrial subscribers was 3 thousand 277, and the number of agricultural irrigation subscribers was 71 thousand 626.

The total number of all subscribers whose electricity was cut off in one year was 3 million 449 thousand 344.

THE SITUATION WITH NATURAL GAS

Last year, an average of 15 million 350 thousand natural gas bills were generated per month.

The number of in natural gas residential subscribers who were disconnected in one year was 951 thousand 294. The number of subscribers of the trading house whose natural gas is cut off is 142 thousand 287.
