TESK President Palandoken: Chain markets should be limited to products they sell

TESK (Confederation of Tradesmen and Artisans of Turkey) Chairman Palandoken called for amendments to the Retail Law in order to ensure price stability in the market and protect shopkeepers. Palandoken stated that chain markets should be limited to the products they sell.

Chairman of Confederation of Tradesmen and Artisans of Turkey (TESK) shared the situation about tradesmen’s struggle with large enterprises in a written statement and said this challenge was continuing.

Palandoken wanted amendments to the Retail Law in order to ensure price stability in the market and protect tradesmen, adding “The number of actors in the market should increase by preventing unfair competition. In order to protect consumers and our tradesmen and to make employment different (better), small businesses need to be supported.”
