40-45 percent of tourists to come to Antalya in 2020 expected to prefer Kemer

It is reported that around 80 hotels have been opened in Kemer recently and experts forecast that thanks to the opening of Russian and German markets 40-45 percent of tourists to come to Antalya until the end of the year will prefer Kemer.

Kemer which is one of the most important destinations for Turkish tourism, has been experiencing a very active season recently with the start of charter flights from Russia. So far, around 80 tourism companies have opened their doors in Kemer, which is also known as “Little Moscow” in Russia.

Professionals say, “We are already in August and markets are starting to open up. As of today, The region has guests coming from the Russian market, via charters. The opening of two important markets, Germany and the Russia has made the tourism sector happy.

The managements have opened around 80 hotels in Kemer. This is an important signal for both employment and trade. Many hotels were opened in Kemer. Certainly this reflects very positively to the Turkish economy in terms of Tourism.

During this period, the most important issue is considered to be to maintain certain service quality by taking risk of certain costs, also. The professionals believe it is essential to provide certain quality rather than reducing prices. Once the prices are dropped, it’s hard to raise them again.

Professionals say, paying attention to social distance, taking measures, giving right to all applications related to certification are vital measures that should be complied with by the hotels. Health is essential regarding both the staff and guests. Kemer normally receives 30 percent of the number of tourists coming to Antalya. The advantage this year is that many hotels are opened in the region, so it is expected around 40 per cent or 45 per cent will prefer Kemer, this season.
