5.9 Magnitude Earthquake in Malatya: Felt in Surrounding Provinces

Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Malatya, with the epicenter located in the district of Kale. The tremor was felt not only in the Eastern Anatolia region but also in the Southeastern and Central Anatolia regions.

According to information from AFAD’s website, the earthquake occurred at 10:46 AM, with a depth of 10.07 kilometers. It was reported that the earthquake was felt in multiple provinces across the region.
