A big hike is coming to diesel price tonight; a gasoline hike is also on the way

A last-minute development… The liter price for diesel will be increased by 80 cents starting tonight. It is also reported that a significant hike in gasoline prices is expected tomorrow.

The hike will be reflected in the pump prices, and the price per liter of the engine will increase approximately from 14.60 TL to 15.40 TL in Istanbul and from 14.71 TL to 15.51 TL in Ankara and Izmir.

Very apparently, citizens are very much disturbed and in difficult situation due to uninterrupted price hikes. In fact many protests in different parts of Turkey have gradually started. People are observed to be taking to streets.
