A new record in the influx of Russians buying homes in Antalya

Russians, who started to purchase more homes in Turkey and especially Antalya, after the beginning of the war, have set a new record. While 6 thousand 83 houses were sold to foreigners in November, 42 percent of these sales were made to Russians. While Russians bought 836 houses from Turkey in November 2021, this number increased to 2 thousand 575 in November 2022.

The November housing sales statistics announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) revealed that Russians had bought 2,575 houses from Turkey in November and broken the monthly sales record.

According to the report, while sales to foreigners decreased by 17.4 percent year-on-year in November, it increased by 20.4 percent in January-November period.

42 PERCENT OF HOME SALES WERE MADE TO RUSSIANS IN NOVEMBER

While 6 thousand 83 houses were sold to foreigners in November, 42 percent of this lot, i.e. 2 thousand 575 units, were made to Russians.

On an annual basis, the number of houses purchased by Russian citizens from Turkey in November 2021 was 836, while this number increased to 2 thousand 575 in November 2022. In other words, housing sales to Russians have increased by 208 percent, in the last year.
