Accommodation prices for 5 nights on Eid al-Adha range from11 thousand TL, to 500 thousand TL

The Eid al-Adha holiday has been extended to nine days, making the Mediterranean region a popular destination. Over 2.5 million people are expected to travel during this period. Travelers mostly prefer Antalya, Alanya, Kemer, Side, and Bodrum, with a high demand for all-inclusive hotels, as well as interest in bungalows, apart-hotels, and guesthouses.

TÜRSAB President’s Assessment

Firuz Bağlıkaya, President of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), stated in an interview with Hürriyet, “Extending the Eid al-Adha holiday to nine days has significantly boosted holiday reservations. We expect more than 2.5 million people to participate in tourism activities during the Eid period. Domestic sales have increased compared to last year. This year, families planning beach holidays have a significant opportunity as the holiday coincides with the school break. Within Turkey, Bodrum, Kemer, Marmaris, Side, Belek, Alanya, and Çeşme are popular. Hotel occupancy rates in Antalya and the Aegean region have already reached 80%. Cultural tour reservations have also increased by more than 40% compared to last year’s Eid reservations.”

Accommodation Prices During the Eid Holiday

Based on information gathered from online reservation sites, the cost of a 5-night stay for two adults and one child during the Eid holiday varies widely, from as low as 11,000 TL to over 500,000 TL in the most luxurious hotels.

– Antalya: The cost for a 5-night stay starts at approximately 11,000 TL. Beachfront hotels start at around 25,000 TL. Ultra-luxurious hotels can exceed 500,000 TL.

– Bodrum: The lowest prices for 5-night stays in apart-hotels start at around 14,000 TL. Mid-range hotels average around 25,000 TL, while the most expensive 5-star hotels can cost up to 350,000 TL.

– Marmaris: Prices for a 5-night stay start at about 14,000 TL. The cost in the most luxurious hotels can reach 340,000 TL. Boutique hotels offering bed and breakfast options for two people average around 30,000 TL for five nights.

– Çeşme: The cheapest guesthouses start at 17,500 TL for five nights for two adults and one child. The most expensive hotels in the area can cost up to 168,000 TL.

– Fethiye: Prices for a 5-night stay range from 14,000 TL to over 300,000 TL.

– Mersin: Hotels start at 14,000 TL for five nights, with luxury hotels averaging around 60,000 TL.

Most Popular Destination: Antalya

According to data from neredekal.com, there has been a 132% increase in holiday searches for the Eid al-Adha period, with Antalya being the most searched destination. Within Antalya, Kemer and Alanya are the most searched locations. 23.4% of vacationers prefer a 3-night stay, while 37.2% prefer 4 nights or more.

For example, a family of four can stay for a minimum of 2,500 TL per day, with prices going up to 120,000 TL per day for the highest-end accommodations.
