Australian airline Qantas has announced that the Covid-19 vaccine will be made a necessity for passengers in the future. A top executive of said company told Australia’s Nine Network television that the company planned to change its conditions for international passengers because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The executive was reported to share following statement: “We will ask people to get vaccinated before boarding the plane. We think this is a requirement for international passengers arriving and leaving the country.”

He said Qantas was facing the worst commercial conditions in its 100-year history and he thought other airlines would also be obliged to introduce this requirement.

Australia closed its international borders at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak and quarantined those returning to the country.
