AK Party starts preparations for 2023 elections

The ruling AK Party has started working for the presidential and parliamentary elections to be held in June 2023.

According to some news on Turkish media, AK Party leader and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan chaired a meeting last week and started work on preparations for elections. As one of the most important issues he evaluated the 5 election declarations prepared during the 21-year period AKP has been in power, as well as the realization rates of the promises in these declarations. It is understood that the promises in the new term declaration will continue to increase in the coming period. However, AKP officials point out that the main determinant in the election process will be the arrangements that will provide relief in the economy.
