ALACATI expects high demand from British and German markets in September and October

ALACATI is one of the most prominent tourism / holiday resorts in the Turkish Aegean. The place is known to be very elegant and entertaining for high-budget Turkish tourists mainly. It is also famous for wind-surfing activities world-wide.

The resort has incurred loss of tourism revenues so far due to the epidemic. However, it has thankfully started to receive booking phones from Germany and the UK with the normalization process. The professionals in the sector say they are looking forward to opening of the airports gates to Turkey for the business to get rolling.

The professionals in the sector also report that tourism  is vital for ALACATI and the business observed in streets and dining areas are not seen in the accommodation facilities yet. Still they count on efforts of Tourism Minister ERSOY who has been trying to establish direct flight relationships with 70 destinations and believe the resort will enjoy increase in number of tourists and amount of revenues when many other airports open their gates to Turkey

They say the establishments in the area have started to receive reservations from abroad gradually and the highest demand is expected from the UK and German markets. It is also noted Turks living abroad want to come over very much.

On the other hand both September and October are very important in terms of both domestic and international tourism and holiday-makers will show great interest in said months before closing of the season.
