Foreign holidaymakers 65 and older in Marmaris, exempted from curfew restrictions

In the Marmaris district of Mugla, foreign holidaymakers aged 65 and over were exempted from curfew restrictions. In an announcement made by Marmaris district governor, it was stated that the County Public Hygiene Board had convened with Governor Ertuğ Şevket Aksoy as chairman of the meeting.

At the meeting, a decision was taken to regulate the implementation of the lifting-stretching of curfew restrictions for people aged 65 and over for tourism purposes.

“Based on the circular by the Ministry of Interior it was restricted for citizens 65 years of age and above, to go out except for 10:00-20: 00 hours every day. It was unanimously decided based on the resolution of the District General Hygiene Council, to exempt foreign nationals 65 years of age or older who come to our district for tourism purposes from the restriction decision stated during the holiday periods.” (AA)
